It was just a matter of time before the cat could be let out of the bag. On Tuesday, the embattled Jubilee MP Silas Tiren who for a long time had been at the crossroads on whether to support Jubilee or Kanu parties publicly endorsed Baringo Senator Gideon Moi’s 2022 Presidential aspirations.
The Moiben MP who felt out with Deputy President William Ruto after being ousted from the Agricultural committee together with his Nandi Hills counterpart Alfred Ketter announced that he will support Gideon Moi at the same time accusing Dr. Ruto of being on the negative side of leadership.
He was speaking on Tuesday at a peace rally in Tiaty constituency East Pokot together with ‘Team Marmario’ of ‘Kieleweke’ led by MP Kasait Kamket of Kanu.
It is, however, Tiren’s declaration that left many in the social media wondering who the said legislator was and if he indeed he commanded any following in the entire Rift Valley region.
Tiren, though not so popular is only known by some because of his fierce critics against the DP Ruto were on few occasions he has accused him of being the mastermind of all the problems that maize farmers in the Rift Valley region are currently facing.
