Exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna has unleashed his wrath on Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Nyagaka Tongi who traveled to India with his wife only to repay a ksh.300 food debt.

Richard Tongi had overstayed with the debt for 23 years. He decided to travel to India to clear it with Kashinath Gawli  who had a grocery store at Wankhedenagar area in Aurangabad where Tongi got food on credit.

Miguna Miguna has bashed Tongi for playing cheap PR politics. He has gone a head to refer to him as an ‘Mpig’ who is looting trillions of Kenya shillings from poverty-stricken citizens every year.

The National Revolutionary Movement General has gone ahead to describe Tongi as a leader with no vision and integrity.

“These MPigs loot trillions of Kenya shillings from poverty-stricken citizens every year. However, instead of limiting or eliminating their thirst for theft of public resources, they are quick to publish PR pictures. No depth. No vision. No integrity,” Miguna stated.

Justifying his harsh words against Richard Tongi, Miguna claimed that the MP could have mailed or use Western Union to send the money while the rest of the cash directed towards helping residents of Nyaribari Chache.

“The MPig should have placed the 200 rupees in the mail or used Western Union (and used the rest of the money in Nyaribari or Kenyan people) instead of this pathetic attention-seeking PR stunt,” Miguna retorted.

However Richard Tongi claimed that going back to India to repay the loan has given his heart peace.

“I had a debt from 23 years ago that I had not paid, they (Gawlis) had given me food, but I had not paid. So when I got married, I vowed to return to India and payback. Now, my heart is at peace,” said Mr Tongi.

The MP went to an extent of doing a TV interview (NDTV India) just to express his emotions after clearing the Ksh.300 debt.
