Just hours after the vocal Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi declared that he will fight for the return of Canadian-based barrister Miguna Miguna back to the country, the vocal lawyer has welcomed the lawmaker’s remarks.

Through his Twitter account, Miguna in what was seen as a positive reception of Sudi’s remarks maintained that the courts have on many occasions ruled and ordered for his bring back that he is a Kenyan Citizen with all fundamental rights and freedom to be in the country.

In what was viewed as an indirect reference to Oscar Sudi, Miguna added that every Kenyan had a duty to fight all the tyrants in the country including President Uhuru Kenyatta who according to Miguna had for a long time subverted the constitution and also brutally violating the rights of Kenyans including Miguna’s.

Speaking on Wednesday outside the Milimani Law Courts Oscar Sudi had accused the Jubilee Government of using bullying tactics to oppress those who don’t agree with them.

“We will not relent in our allegations. This is exactly what they did to Miguna and I want to ask my Kenyans and my friends that after this we fight for Miguna Miguna to come home. This is the politics of the old and we will not be cowed.” said Sudi

Deputy President William Ruto’s Jubilee side of Tanga-tanga currently feels targeted by the government a year after the March 2018 handshake that brought together President Uhuru Kenyatta and his longtime rival ODM Party leader Raila Odinga.

Many of the Tanga-tanga members have associated the current mistreatments from the government to 2022 succession politics which according to them is being championed by Raila Odinga to frustrate their candidate William Ruto.

It remains to be seen whether the Tanga-tanga leaders will eventually direct all their energies into demanding for  Dr. Miguna’s comeback. Miguna felt out with Raila Odinga after he failed to secure his come back after deportation. Miguna has been on the front line calling for revolutions in the country to remove all the ‘DESPOTS’ from power.
