Harambee Stars defender Erick Marcelo Ouma is set to visit Give Hope Children’s Home on 13 July 2019. Ouma landed in Kenya on Thursday from Cairo where he was among the players who represented Kenya in the ongoing African Cup of Nation.

Stars were bundled out of the tournament in group stages after being beaten 3-0 in their decider match Senegal on Monday last week. A few days after his arrival in Nairobi, Ouma started an initiative to give back to the community.

On his official Facebook page, the 22-year-old has invited everyone to join him at Ruaka Give Hope Children’s Home on 13 July to bring a smile to the face of the innocent kids.

The Vasalund player will be joined by his fellow footballers like Paul were, Patrick Matasi, Ade Omondi, Patrick Oboya and David Cheche, who are set to help him grace the moment at Ruaka. Besides them will be most famous comedians Mchungaji and Mtumishi, who will entertain the audience present.

Nicknamed Marcelo, Ouma currently plays for the Swedish club Vasalund as a left back. He played for the Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia in 2016 before joining Georgian club Kolkheti Poti in January 2017.

He then moved to Albanian club KS Kastrioti in February 2018 and by September the same year, he was playing for Swedish club Vasalund. He made his international debut for Harambee Stars in 2016 and played in AFCON for the first time this year.
