The Kenya Premier League Champions Gor Mahia have released the team that will face Congolese side AS Maniema in the Cecafa Kagame Cup. Harun Shakava, who has been strongly linked with a move to moneybags Wazito FC starts in defense while Nicholas Kipkirui starts in attack.
It is the first time that Gor Mahia will play without their talismanic forward Jacques Tuyisenge who left for Angolese side Petro Atletico. Kenneth Muguna will play in midfield while Boniface Oluoch starts in goal. Completely missing from the squad is Philemon Otieno who is enjoying an extended break following his involvement with the national team at the Africa Cup Of Nations.
According to the fixtures, all Group A and Group C matches will be played in Kigali, Group B in Huye District, while Group D games will be staged at Umuganda Stadium, in Rubavu.
