Kenyan Businessman abducted in Tanzania dumped in Mombasa

Kenyan businessman Raphael Ongangi.Kenyan businessman, Mr Raphael Ongangi, who was reported missing in Dar es Salaam has been found alive according to activist Boniface Mwangi. It is alleged that the businessman who was abducted in Dar es Salaam last week was dumped in Mombasa on Tuesday morning by Tanzanian intelligence officers after what the activist described as pilled pressure on the Tanzania government to release the man.

Mr Ongangi who runs a cargo logistics business and was abducted at about 9.30pm on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the intersection of Msasani and Karume Road in Oysterbay neighbourhood right next to the Ugandan High Commission by three gunmen who had three cars and two motorbikes.Tokeo la picha la Ugandan High Commission tanzania

The wife of the businessman, Kundya had described the incident as shocking and frightening and appealed to the police to help find her husband who was taken away by unknown gunmen as they drove home in the night after visiting their children in school.

Kenya’s High Commissioner to Dar es Salaam, Mr Dan Kazungu had confirmed the reports of the abduction of the missing trader and were working with Tanzanian authorities to find him.
