Uasin Gishu Women Rep Gladys Shollei has joined forces with the Deputy President William Ruto in castigating the Opposition Leader Raila Odinga for propagating poverty in the country.
Shollei who has currently been alienated toward’s Ruto Tanga Tanga camp accused Raila of capitalizing on corruption to justify his opposition and making no efforts to redeem his followers from poverty.

Speaking at an Interview on Monday, the vocal legislator went on to compare Raila’s performance of 30 years as a Kibra MP to that of the ailing current MP Kennedy Odede of 8 years arguing that Odede has performed far much better than the former Prime Minister.
“Raila Odinga was Kibra MP for almost 30 years but it is the poorest place in this country; I have seen the work Kennedy Odede has done and it is more than Raila would have ever done., ” she argued.

Shollei was responding to Ruto’s latest attack was on Monday where he unleashed ‘the Lord of Poverty’ tirade on Raila.
The obviously agitated Deputy President while addressing the Residents of Nyamira, argued that the Enigma Raila was opposed to all Jubilee development projects from the start. He mentioned the projects such as Eurobond, The Standard Gauge Railway which Raila was so much against capitalizing on corruption to justify his opposition.
“You are the Lord of Poverty and we will destroy your Kingdom with policies that uplift the poor and progress the Nation,” he Said.
