Ruto to Raila:”You are the Lord of Poverty and we will destroy your Kingdom”

The Deputy President William Ruto has renewed fresh and name calling attacks directed towards The AU Representative Raila Odinga.

The bold Dr. William Ruto has described Raila has the Lord of poverty who does not have any positive development agenda for the people of Kenya.

“You are the Lord of Poverty and we will destroy your Kingdom with policies that uplift the poor and progress the Nation,” he Said.

During a women’s empowerment forum, Ekerenyo, North Mugirango, Nyamira County, Dr Ruto has also insisted that Raila Odinga was from the start opposed to all the development projects which were being launched by Jubilee Government.

Ruto has stated that Raila with his negative spirit of positive development need to be destroyed.

Ruto who was fighting for his life last week after the alleged assassination plot by some several Cabinet Secretaries has pinned Raila down basing on his previous sentiments which he used corruption to oppose the Jubilee Development agenda.

However Raila Odinga is on record opposing various Jubilee Projects on the basis of being ill-intentioned. The SGR and EuroBond being the ones which he was extra-bold on opposing.

But the Former Prime Minister has since changed his tune to support President Uhuru Kenyatta especially in the fight against corruption. Over the weekend he asked the Investigative agencies to persecute those who were involved in the Arror and Kimwarer Dam Scandal.

Ruto latest attacks to Raila have been triggered by his sentiments were he told the Deputy President to repent before dishing out millions to churches. Raila was echoed by local leaders from the region led by MP Joshua Kuttuny and other ODM leaders who accompanied him.

Raila was hosted by Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Eng Alex Tolgos.
