On Friday Morning largest telecommunications provider in Kenya- Safaricom experienced a technical glitch which saw its subscribers mine free data and talk time.
Excited Kenyans took to social media and shared screenshots subscription messages and other funny memes on how they earned free data miraculously.

But who knew that this joy was going to be short-lived. After a few hours, a number of subscribers started reporting that Safaricom had entered them onto a force pay program for the illegally acquired data.

Others cried out loud claiming that they had been banned from using Safaricom services for violating terms of service.

As if this was not enough, Safaricom went ahead to millions of subscribers who had defrauded the company a mother of all lesson. The company wiped out everything useful for the subscribers from data bundles, Bonga point balance and the legitimately purchased bundles leaving Kenyans lamenting.
KOT has formed a trending hashtag #SafaricomBundleHeist and apparently, this is what they are saying;
