Kenyan Premier league side, AFC Leopards will sign ten players ahead of 2019/20 Kenyan Premier League season, the club has confirmed.

Ingwe performed dismally during the 2018/18 Kenyan Premier League campaign and at some point were in serious relegation dog-fight, the team finally finished in the 11th position with 43 points.

Newly elected Leopards Secretary General Oliver Sikuku says the management is keen on having a better playing unit for next season. He stated that the team will sign quality players and have a good pre-season ahead of the new campaign that kicks off in late August.

“We are not taking any chances, we are going for the best players this team round. We want to assemble a good team, prepare well and be ready for the new campaign, we have to get things right this time round,”

He went further to reveal that the club will bring on board five internationals from within and outside the country to bolster the team. Ingwe will also bring in five young players to compliment them.

“We are targeting internationals this time round. We will get five experienced player: A keeper. a defender, two midfielders and a striker. We will then sign five young players to compliment them,” he added.

AFC Leopards will begin its 2019/20 campaign with an away match against bogey Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu Stadium.
