Former Tanzania Miss 200 Wema Sepetu has finally been released after a torturous week behind bars over a leaked sex tape.
The video that surfaced online showing Wema and her ex getting cozy landed her in trouble with Tanzanian authorities.
In the video, Wema was filmed making out in bed with her ex-fiancé, a Burundian identified as Patrick but popularly known as PCK. After she went against the bond terms in a case she was accused of leaking her sex tape online, a court in Dar es Salaam directed that the popular bongo movie actress be remanded in custody for seven days.
In her defense, however, Wema’s lawyer Ruben Simwanza argued that her client arrived for the hearing but was forced to leave the court’s premises after she suddenly developed stomach complications.
The seven days are up and Diamond’s first love is now a free woman. A few of her ex lovers came out strongly to show support for the beauty while she was behind bars, including Patrick who she had accused of conning her.
