Kenyans on social media have come out to blast Controversial gospel artiste Ringtone Apoko after taking his ‘wife search’ to another level, leave alone the streets but now to Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) Parklands.
This comes two weeks after the ‘Talanta’ hitmaker was arrested for “prostituting and causing confusion” at Cooperative University in Karen.
On Sunday Ringtone attended a service at the church and after the sermon, he went outside and lifted his placard written ‘looking for a wife’.
According to the singer, he was targeting women coming out of the church but things turned ugly as security guards threw him outside, causing a commotion.
This made him take his disappointments to his social media penning down a letter to the Church’s Bishop Allan Kiuna.
He wrote;
Dear Bishop Kiuna I write to you with a lot of pain man of God. Today I came to your church and was blessed with your message. After the service, I went outside and lifted my placard in search of a wife and what followed from your security was very bad. Just to let you know. Thank you man of God. Your spiritual son Ringtone.
This caused a lot of reactions on social media that people hoped he’d take heed in;
