AFCON2019: Diatta hits debut stunner as Senegal down Tanzania

Tanzania’s Taifa Stars will have their goalkeeper Aishi Manula to thank for the saves he made against Senegal despiteĀ  going down 2-0 to the Lions of Teranga on Sunday in Cairo.

Senegal was dealt a major blow when center-back Salif Sane was injured in the 20th-minute and had to be replacedĀ  but Napoli’s Salif Koulibaly ensured that they maintained their shape at the back.

24 -year old M’Baye Niang who plays for Rennes in the French league Ligue-1 missed a lot of chances which he could have been converted but fortunately, Balde and Diatta ensured that the side registered a comfortable win to lead the group.
