Just a day after The Deputy President William Ruto promised to tame team tangatanga and focus on development agenda, one of his strongest supporters has not heeded to the call.
Dr. William Ruto on Friday pledged unwavering loyalty to President Uhuru Kenyatta, promising to ensure projects the government initiates are implemented.
“All of us, and I speak on behalf of all Jubilee leaders, are behind you. We understand where we started. We said then that Jubilee would focus on two things. One; to unite the country … unite all the tribes … people from all religions … we stand with you without wavering,” he said in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, where the President relaunched the Rivatex textile factory.
“Two; we agreed that our politics must change so we can focus on development. We are revamping Rivatex. We are with you 100 per cent and we are not faltering.
But Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruyoit is seemingly still nursing the injuries of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s outburst during the Akorino Annual Prayer meeting on Sunday.
President Kenyatta on Sunday termed the Pro-Ruto brigade crooks who had turned their back on him, despite running on his wave to clinch parliamentary seats.
But Cheruyoit has kicked the same ball in Uhuru’s court demanding to walk the talk by first firing his Cabinet Secretaries who are busy advancing their 2022 political inetersts instead of focusing on the Development agenda.
Kericho wants Uhuru to send them packing as soon as possible before he could crash his foes in the Development agenda.
He has gone ahead to refer them as ‘mashetani’ for their plot to end Ruto’s political ambition.

This comes days after a leaked audio of Jubilee Secretary General and George Nyanja made rounds in social media. The audio revealed how Tuju and his fellow Jubilee member are planning to stop Ruto from succeeding Uhuru in 2022.
