‘It’s The most Difficult Journey In Life’- Jacqueline Mengi still Mourning

The pain of losing a loved one is too much and in some cases, it can take quite some time to fade. The grief does not go away easily where there is a significant loss, such as the death of a loved one. The feeling of numbness, grief, and sadness could take a significant time to ease. Then when sadness fades the other difficult emotions lessen as the bereaved start accepting the loss.

This is what has been happening to Jacqueline Mengi who lost her husband  Reginald Mengi on 2nd May 2019. Reginald Mengi was a Tanzanian billionaire, a philanthropist, author and a business mogul who died at the age of 75 leaving behind his wife Jacqueline Mengi 39, and a pair of Twins.

After the death and burial of Reginald Mengi, his wife Jacqueline Mengi has not been speaking about him on social media. Perhaps she has been going through the mourning and acceptance process. For one month Jacqueline has not said anything about the death of her husband.

However, On 7th June 2019, Jacqueline went to social media, her Instagram timeline to be precise and shared an emotional message on how mourning a loved one has been to her. She still mourns her late husband and father of her children

In her words, she described that the moment of loss has been the most difficult time and her hope remains in prayer and faith.

Through this most difficult journey in life, our only hope lies in our faith and prayer. May God bless all of your kind hearts who continue to pray for us, we can never thank you enough or repay you for your kindness. And as we continue to pray for ourselves we also pray for others in the world who are grieving like us, believing that it’s only God who will give us all the strength we need to go on.
