Mogaya sarcastically questioned the appointments claiming that one’s place of birth is enough to give someone a top job at KRA and CBK.

Mogaya , a close a close ally of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga wrote;

“There are basic qualifications for one to head CBK and KRA. Those qualifications are impossible and unattainable by the rest of the country. They are determined at birth. One day the bubble will burst.”

Controversial City Lawyer Miguna Miguna has as well backede Magaya.

Miguna claims that the two have been appointed because of their tribal affiliation with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

For years now, President Uhuru Kenyatta has been under scrutiny over the alleged appointment of people from his Central Kenya backyard to top government positions.

While Dr Patrick Njoroge replaced Prof Njuguna Ndung’u, Mr Mburu will be replacing Njiraini, who also hails from Central Kenya. Both appointments have caused mixed reactions across the country.
