The famous ‘Charity begins at home’ phrase cuts across many dimensions. I say this with confidence because many people around the world have attested to this statement and lived it as a principle. One good example is the sensational Jamaican Band, Morgan Heritage.

It all started with a concert and their love for Kenya has had them doing unimaginable things for this country. Famously known for their ‘Reggae bring back Love’ Hit, they are not your ordinary artistes, from being siblings to changing this world into a better place. This is rare, most artists would hardly do that. We have seen artists come into the country especially from Nigeria (Namewitheld) who pretend as though they breathe freshened air. Ugh! Wao husumbua tu.

According to Morghan Heritage, they believe Africa is home to all black people.  During one of their interviews, they hinted that Kenya was one of their favourite places in the continent. ‘We may have been born in the Western hemisphere but our skin is black and we believe, for one reason or another, our ancestry is from Africa,’ they added.

Peter and Gramps officially declared that Kenya is their home and they would like to one day come back and settle here once they retire from music. Morgan heritage will launch the start of there loyalty world tour with  the tomorrow’s leaders festival to be first held in Nairobi Kenya.

It shall be an amazing charity concert, that will be held at Kasarani Stadium. Uber will be their official transport partner. The concert shall be on 8th June 2019 with tickets ranging from Ksh. 1000 for Regulars and VVIP going for Ksh.15000. What a better way to support a just cause right?

Artists in the line-up include Morghan Heritage who shall also be the main sponsors, Yemi Alade, Diamond Platinumz, Alaine, Naiboi among others. The global initiative festival will raise funds and awareness for youth leadership development programs in Africa and Jamaica, with benefactors including Save The Children, UNICEF, UNESCO, UNODC, OXFAM International, Shofco, Joy Divine and others.

Here are some quick reactions ahead of Saturday’s concert;
