Handsome donations by the Deputy President William Ruto have continued to be clouded by numerous reactions.
The son of a pauper is being opposed from all sides with ODM being the latest group to call for an audit of his handsome donations.
“I have a confession to make. When you see some of us go to church &pray, lift up our hands, sometimes shed tears, make this or that contribution, it is because we cannot forget where God has brought us from. I beg you to understand” ~ DP Ruto during the #NationalPrayerBreakfast pic.twitter.com/TzsIjmxlhS

ODM Chairman John Mbadi has tabled a raft of amendments which will require all public officers who contribute more than Sh100,000 in harambees or any kind of fundraisings to file returns with the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
According to Mbadi, this move will help in taming corruption which is deeply rooted especially among public servants.
UPDATE: Public officers who spend more than Sh100,000 in a funds drive will have to notify @EACCKenya of source of funds if the proposed law is passed.

The Suba South MP demands that all Public servants who dish out millions which do not resonate with their salaries explain to the EACC the source of their wealth.
This is seemingly a direct attack to DP Ruto who is always giving out millions in Harambees and fundraising.
Ruto has however, time and again defended his handsome donations stating that he is doing that to thank the Lord for what he has done for him.
Mbadi is also pushing for all public servants to declare their wealth to their employers.
He has called on EACC to ensure accountability and also maintain the integrity of all Public Servants.
This comes as the office of the auditor General under the leadership of Edward Ouko continue to struggle to find a perfect mechanism to conduct life audit of all public servants.
Do You think that Mbadi’s suggestions will help deal with corrupt individuals?
