Police are in search of a woman in Nakuru County after she was reported to have stitched her son’s mouth.

The irate woman did the unthinkable act all because the Class Five boy dropped in his exams.

Villagers were forced to intervene in order to save the helpless boy when the mother took off.

This comes a day after a couple in Muranga was arraigned for allegedly drowning their two-year-old daughter.

Stephen Kamau Kariuki and his wife Mildred Imaili Musya from Kibue Village are reported to have drowned the girl at Mathioya River.

Resident Magistrate Sheila Nyaga ordered the two to be held at Murang’a Police station until June 17, when their case will be mentioned.
