Veteran Tanzanian Musician Rehema Chalamila popularly known as Ray C has warned Tanzanian artistes against hatred and encouraged them to love each other.
RayC says that Tanzanian musicians have a bad habit of hatred, jealous and celebrating each other’s downfall and this is hindering the progress of Bongo music.
According to RayC, she has also observed a sense of competition which she says is causing division in the Tanzanian Music industry.
The ‘Unanimaliza’ hitmakerย has urged the Tanzanian artistes to support each other stating that there is so much talent coming from their country.
RayC revealed that she has also noticed how Tanzanian musicians are grouping themselves and seem to have individualism.
She warned musicians saying that teaming up is the only way to make the music industry better In all aspects.
Rayc gave an example of the Nigerian music industry which is well established and represented in the International space.
Her emphasis is that supporting each other will go a long way in realizing the dream of Bongo Flavour music to the world.
RayC has been in the music industry for years and from her personal experience, she mentioned that musicians can only have a breakthrough if they support each other.
Through her music, RayC says that she will always be remembered and celebrated for her prowess and contribution to the industry.
RayC gave her remarks after she shared Rich Mavoko’s new song, A former Wasafi musicians who has seemingly been secluded ever since he split up with the team.
Her statement might be directly addressed to the Wasafi artistes although she did not directly mention it.
