Veteran musician Rufftone does unthinkable to Mr Seed

The Kenyan music industry has continued to grow in the recent past as new and vibrant artists emerge to challenge those who have long been in the scene.The industry has been modernized with powerful instruments that make it easy to reach the young people of this generation.

Kenyan gospel artists have not been left out as they remain the most popular musicians in and outside the country. With gospel music, they influence the lives of most Kenyans morally.

Rufftone whose real name is Roy Smith Mwita is one of the leading Kenyan male gospel artists. Rufftone is the Goodwill Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Lampstand Music Record founder and an excellent graphic designer. Popularly known for “Mungu Baba” featuring the GSU.

The Veteran Gospel singer for the first time has been captured jamming on Mr Seed’s song dubbed “Simama”.

Mungu baba hitmaker took to his social media account to applaud Mr Seed for the good work he is doing by spreading the word of God through music.

Sometimes back, Mr Seed  exited  from the EMB records, Starborn Empire CEO, However, the father of one is causing a stir in the gospel industry with his latest song Simama.

Before releasing simama, he had featured Tanzania’s  award winning gospel artist Solomon Mkubwa in yet another  hit song  dubbed “UPO”.

The song is more of a prayer to God to remember those in need as we believe in his presence-‘UPO’. What better time to do such a beautiful song than now?

Many people are struggling with emotional issues and the Duo have done justice by dropping this tune. UPO is Swahili which loosely translates to   ‘You are there’ .
