Legendary music producer, Tedd Josiah, is in regrets after his daughter Jayjay got hospitalized.
He feels like he is to blame for not taking good care of her.
Through his Instagram account, he wrote; “This week was had a scary episode when JayJay nearly lost her front teeth from a fall, Rushing to the hospital my mind raced back and forth.
“what could I have done differently? Should I have paid more attention? Does this make me a bad parent? Am I not supposed to give her the rainbows and now she has this…?”
But then I realized that God knew even before I did that this was going to happen. My prayer and only prayer was for healing for her from the Almighty.
Babies do bounce back quick cause an adult like me would have been in bed for days.
She’s on the mend now and recovering well thanks to Hilubura for rushing us to the hospital even though u were also unwell and thanks to Sarah for getting us the treatment. God puts people in our path for a reason.”
Tedd has been parenting Jajay all by himself with the help of a nanny who leaves in the evening.
He lost his wife, Regina Katar, in the year 2017 after short after birth complications, leaving behind a three months old daughter.
Tedd has portrayed a good example to the single fathers that is is possible to take care of the children even in the absence of the mother.
He previously challenged men with a post saying; “In between selling bags Jokajok luxury leather), my marketing and media work…Her Royal Highness Empress, Gummybear will sometimes fetch her bottle of milk and come to me so that I feed her. It’s not really feeding it’s more bonding, security, knowing my mom loves me.
Being the only Mom she can recall from infancy who fed her, bathed her and taken care of her means some days she just wants that bond. It would be amazing if more men got this.
I know it took me Hell on Earth for me to get it but I hope this post opens up men’s minds to this fact.
It’s not about bringing toys home it’s about letting them know that you are the safety & the love they need. And it’s never too late to start.”
