The Deputy President Dr William Ruto has finally confessed what inspires him to be a cheerful giver in church donations.
The Deputy President has been attacked on numerous occasions for turning the altar into a political battle field. The recent attacks coming from Murang’a Women Representative Sabina Chege who condemned church politicking.

Over the Weekend Team Kieleweke told off the Dr William Ruto to consider resigning if he cannot stop early political campaigns which are propagated through the altar.
Moreover DP Ruto has been castigated for his handsome donations by several political leaders. Hon Raila Odinga,ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi among others have questioned where DP Ruto gets his millions he donates to churches.
But to calm all the attacks, Dr William Ruto has begged the country to understand his frequent visits to the church as he is saying thank you to the Lord for what he has done for him.

Other church leaders took a the stand on the issue of church politicking. Some banned politics in the altar while others have decided to embrace DP Ruto by allowing donations from politicians in their sanctuaries.
Though fingers have been pointed to church leaders for sanitizing the proceeds of corruption.
However Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua has been on the forefront on condemning church donations, has more than once claimed that the church does not need proceeds of corruption for the work to be done.
