‘Miguna has more supporters than Uhuru, Ruto and Raila combined’ fans hint on 2022 bid

Following a revival of Miguna Miguna’s ever spirited appearances on Kenyan media, his supporters have similarly come out in numbers, even calling for his return to Kenya via #BringMigunaHome.

The ex-Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant was on Wednesday interviewed on Citizen’s JKLive show, where he in his true element spill the beans regarding the unprecedented handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition Leader Raila Odinga.

“Why was I arrested, detained, held incommunicado and not released despite 15 court orders, yet Raila, who was the owner of the oath, was not arrested?” he posed.

“I was a direct threat to Uhuru and Raila because the president would have to deal with the kingmaker. Mr Odinga felt that even if he became president, he felt the succession was a foregone conclusion as he had already surrendered the quest for the presidency, he would have to deal with me. He then had now to (politically) cut my legs and head off,” added Dr Miguna.

The lawyer further explained the details of Raila’s searing in as the People’s President, revealing affluent businessman Jimi Wanjigi’s involvement.

Dr Miguna said that Jimi Wanjigi, among other donations to ODM’s opposition of President Kenyatta’s presidency, bought a pen worth 2,500 dollars (Sh250,000).

Raila Odinga, according to Miguna, had began getting cold feet over the swearing in and almost bailed.

“I had drafted a speech which Mr Odinga had told me to share with Dennis Onyango and Winnie Odinga. We were not to leave the park for State House but were to stay at the park and hold a carnival protest for as long as it took until Uhuru surrendered. Raila however left immediately after the event. I had to jump into Winnie’s car in order to get to Karen,” added Miguna.

The conversation had a group of Kenyans fired up, in support of Miguna, who they would call ‘General’ to return to Kenya.

“If you think you can ignore Miguna Miguna then you are in a shock, miguna has more supporters than Uhuru, Ruto and Raila combined we are telling Uhuru to for his betterment,” tweeted a supporter.

Others even vowed to vote for him if he would bid for the presidential seat come 2022.
