A 34-year-old man has been arrested during a police operation in Pangani, Nairobi area who after a police search was found carrying several narcotics concealed in an Icebox.
The man is alleged to have been carrying several grams of Cocaine, Heroin and Methcathinone.
A police summary states that Mathias Kangoti Murayi was also in possession of :
A digital weighing machine
Two unused needles
Syringe
Three Lighters
A Scientific Calculator
Two scalpels
Surgical gloves &
A bunch of cotton wool
In a separate incident, five suspects of robbery with violence were arrested on Wednesday evening by detectives from the Directorate of criminal investigations based in Mombasa. The arrests followed an intelligence report received after a series of Robberies and Burglaries within Shelly Beach and Majengo Mpya area. Police found the five in possession of military attire and a homemade gun.
The five suspects are:-
Brian Templer Oyare
George Samuel Okoth alias Musede
Robert Okoth
Mohamed Ali Hamisi &
Rashid Juma.
Also recovered are assorted household goods belonging to various complainants. Suspects are in lawful custody awaiting arraignment in court today.
