CCTV footage shows shocking moments before Mandago’s brother met his death 

Image result for cctv footage show how man fell from stairsPolice investigating the death of Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago’s brother have revealed what the CCTV footage captured moments before he met his death.

The body of the deceased was found in an incomplete building at Chepkanga market on Monday, some 10 kilometres from Eldoret town under unclear circumstances.

It is alleged that a plumber who had been hired in the construction site was looking for a tin of water when he bumped into the body and alerted authorities.

Police assessing CCTV footage from the hotel which is located a few metres from Chepkanga AP police post have learnt that he lost his balance as he came down the staircase on the first floor and came crashing heavily down on an area where the lift was set to be installed.

It had earlier been thought that Kinyor might have been killed elsewhere and his body dumped on the location.

“Our law enforcement agencies should move with speed to bring these senseless killings to an end. Let us deploy all resources at our disposal to ensure the safety of Kenyans across the country,” he said.

Uasin Gishu County Assembly Speaker David Kiplagat condoled with Mr Mandago’s family and called for speedy investigations.
“The security agencies should get to the bottom of this heinous act. How sure are we about the safety of our people?” he posed, taking security agencies to task over their lax that has led to frequent burglaries.
