Wetangula Makes ‘Golden’ Points on Menstrual Day But Kenyans are Messy and Noisy

They say Kenyans move on very fast, but before that happens things can be very tough for a person on the receiving end of their attention. Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula is known for his famous quote, noisy and messy. Well, we can say that is what he is going through at the moment.

It seems Wetangula can’t get rid himself of the tag ‘gold scammer.’ The Ford Kenya Leader has kept a low profile since he was linked to the multi-billion fake gold scandal involving a UAE royal family. But that doesn’t mean that the story will go away.

On Tuesday, Wetangula joined the world in celebrating the World Menstrual Day. He called upon the government to ensure the girl child has enough sanitary towels.

“I call upon the government and other non-state actors to increase interventions in support women especially girls in the provision of free sanitary towels to enable them deal with their critical personal hygiene.” Reads part of a post shared on his social media pages.

Now Kenyans believe this was a very important point coming from the Senator and can only be described as Golden point. I don’t know if that has something to do with the fake gold though.

In fact,

someone asked the Senator to consider the Menstrual Day, a golden day for the girl child. I wonder where people get all the creativity from.

Some brutal Kenyans told off Wetangula that his golden points, will not make them forget the fake gold scandal. Ouch, that is a bit brutal.

Alafu kuna mwenye alimwambia ati the Sheikh is looking for him. He must return the gold or face the music.

Someone believes Wetangula is only using this to divert attention from his woes. And it is not happening.

We hope the Bungoma Senator will not commit suicide because of the savage replies. Bwana Weta, you are bigger than these, You will overcome!
