PSG boss,Thomas Tuchel expresses fear of losing his attacking duo of Mbappe and Neymar

PSG manager Thomas Tuchel has expressed his fears on the possibility of keeping two of his highly valued players, Neymar Jr and French world cup winner Kylian Mbappe saying he can not give a guarantee that the two will be staying in the next summer season.

The world-class duo, who joined the French side for £198 million and £166 million respectively in 2017, from Barcelona and Monaco has been linked with moves away from the Ligue 1 champions and have been linked with a move to Spanish side ReamMadrid where the manager has expressed his desires to have their service with the club.

The youngest footballer in the World Cup, Kylian Mbappe recently revealed during a awards night gala that he was considering his future at French giants that caught everyone including the manager unaware, while Neymar continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid.

And Tuchel said he couldn’t promise that the players would still be at the Parc des Princes when the transfer window closes but reiterated that he would like to see them stay.

When asked about the futures of the pair, Tuchel told Sky Sports F1: “I am used to this. Now it is May, the stuff that I say now might not be true next month.

“Things are like they are, there is a lot of speculation which means we have a lot of quality and talent. “My wish as a manager and as a coach is clear, I want all my players to stay at PSG and stay with our project. The work is not finished, it has just started.

“My wish is clear, but I can’t promise as that would be naïve and I don’t want to be naive in this business.”Mbappe last week suggested he could leave the French giants after revealing that he is open to finding “a new project”.

“This is a very important moment for me,” he said during the Ligue 1 awards night. “I am arriving at maybe the first or second turning point in my career.
