Controversial Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo is never short of theatrics in every political arena.
This time around, she has directed her blazing guns to Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen over his alleged seductive text messages to her.
The vocal and outspoken legislature now alleges that she recently rejected a proposal from Kipchumba Murkomen, her secret admirer.
Mabona is not exactly excited by Murkomen’s seductive messages. In a statement, she made a revelation of how the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator persuaded her to give him a small space in her heart.
“Well, it may sound weird but I had to say this. I am not interested in a relationship right now because I don’t do men younger than me. Even if Murkomen was to be the last man standing on earth, I still wouldn’t allow him to do the obvious with me” Millie Odhiambo stated.
In quick retaliation, Murkomen through his Facebook account told off the controversial Odhiambo observing that her move was only meant at tainting his reputation.
“I take this as personal from Millie Odhiambo. As a family man, I have no time to give attention to busybodies unless if you want us to settle this in a court of law. This is purely meant to tarnish my reputation,” posted Murkomen.
The legislator’s remarks have caused an uproar online with some Kenyans urging her to give Murkomen a chance. “…Acha Senator apige mbizi. Kwani iko nini…” read a hilarious comment from Apwoyo Jonyo.
Some Kenyans have criticized Murkomen for being insensitive on social media. “From Lesuuda to Gesa Gesa. Fisi hawana haha Kweli” Faith Nduta remarked.
Millie Odhiambo is always full of controversies. Her moves have left many Kenyans laughing and asking for more. In 2014, Millie accused Moses Kuria of removing her panty when there were some commotions in parliament.
Gatundu MP, however, denied the claims, saying he only blocked her from assaulting Deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso.
“She is the one who actually removed her panty and threw it on the floor of the House. She was behaving like a mad woman saying how Luo women are not embarrassed by their nakedness” said an irritated Kuria.
Recently the vocal leader through her facebook page told off those who were questioning her childlessness state saying that they will not dictate to her on when to have a child.
“Sara did it at 100 anyway, ” she said on a Facebook post while revealing some of the pressures she encounters for not having a kid.
“Some women got in touch with me on being childless ( because am one, they thought I would be empathetic). Up until then, I was not going to bring a law on Assisted Reproduction. I was touched by how women are very affected. My childlessness does not affect me that much. God gave me a special ability to love children who are not mine. So I brought the law courtesy of their intervention. ( I am however toying with the idea of having a child when am 53 or 55.”
