Unlike the last season, Gor Mahia is set to officially lift the 2018/19 KPL trophy on Saturday 25th May 2019 at the Kenyatta Stadium – Machakos.
The trophy handover event will be conducted after a match with Posta Rangers that is scheduled to kick-off at 4:15 PM.
Thousands of K’ogalo fans are expected to throng the venue early to witness the crowning moment of another successful season, winning the league in emphatic style.
Gor Mahia is currently eight points clear at the KPL summit with two more games to go.
The club’s treasurer Sally Bolo has urged fans to come out in numbers and celebrate the victory.
“We urge K’ogalo followers to come and celebrate with the players and Technical Bench. They have been part of our success, therefore it will be great to have them around. We need to celebrate as a family”, Sally said during an interview with the club’s media team.
