“Let’s wait for a special audit to empirically provide evidence for the issues that we are talking about including the stalled projects, Kaa sober and World Bank money. Let’s not politicize the issue,” Mr. Nyoro said during an interview on Citizen TV Monday morning.

Speaking to NTV on Tuesday, May 7, Mwaura said the allegations against Waititu over misappropriation of public money was nothing but a true manifestation of what he had told him during the campaign season.

“I was shocked one day when we were with him at the parliamentary gym and he told me ‘Mwaura, when we get into government we must steal because even Raila stole KSh 3.4 billion under the Kazi Kwa Vijana initiative’, by the way, it is that point that I disagreed with him,” the senator claimed.
