A rare conviction has been witnessed in the ruling that has seen Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o and his sister being found guilty of contempt.

Canon Hesbon Ny’ong’o valued education and was instrumental in the establishment of Maseno Girls Primary school. With his wife Dorca they ensured that their ten children got decent education, ultimately creating some kind of ‘scholarly’ empire before his death in 2006 without leaving a will.

The heroes however didn’t know the level the kids would stoop in scrambling for the fortune they worked so hard to give all of them.
