AFC Leopards end winless streak with win over MT Kenya

AFC Leopards have ended their five-match winless streak after beatingĀ  MT Kenya United 1-0 in a Kenya Premier League match played at Machakos Stadium.

It was till the final quarter when AFC Leopards managed to open the scores. He would send the ball past MT Kenya Keeper after being set up by Paul Were.

In dying minutes of the clash, June signing Boniface Mukhekhe opened his account at 92nd minute ensuring that Ingwe collected all the points and revenge first leg loss.

The win has seen AFC Leopards rise from 11 spot up to ninth. They have 42 points after 11 wins, nine draws and 12 losses.

Ingwe will face Western Stima and Tusker FC in the final matches of the season.
