African Nationa Congress ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has come out to criticize Luyha Leaders who have Jumped ship to join William Ruto’s camp as just ‘Tumbocrats’ who are after Ruto’s Money.
Musalia observed that the leaders are just after Ruto’s money and will dump him in 2022 once they have exhausted the Dp’s money and instead supported Musalia’s Presidency.
He chided how Ruto was allegedly dishing out money in a bid to earn supremacy in the Western region, claiming that he was not afraid of the DP’s antics even if some of the Luhya leaders have shifted camp.
“I am not worried about the many visits other people make in the Western region. Some leaders crossing over does not necessarily translate into votes. In fact, he (Ruto) should be worried because they only invite him for fundraisers. Those people are only interested in his wallet,” claimed Mudavadi.
Lately, former Bungoma Senator Boni Khalwale announced his defection from Ford Kenya into Jubilee. He is now said to be Ruto’s point man in Western Kenya and has hosted Ruto severally in his home region of Western Kenya.
Mudavadi asserted that he was the favorite candidate to replace Uhuru in the seat of power and he is already making moves to create powerful alliances that will back him in 2022.
He believes that 2022 is his right time and opportunity to be president after supporting Uhuru in 2002 and ODM leader Raila Odinga twice in 2007 and 2017.
Mr Ruto has visited the western region more than five times in the past month. In addition, he has a team including sacked Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa, Senate speaker Ken Lusaka, former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, Trans Nzoia governor Patrick Khaemba and National Assembly Chief Whip Benjamin Washiali leading his campaigns.
