My research informs me that Uber Chap Chap was a project by a very close relative to someone in State House. The idea was to increase new motor vehicle sales through the Suzuki Alto brand but at zero risk of stocking up units at the show rooms.

The idea was sold to the guys over at Uber and it made business sense to them since with this model they were guaranteed total control over the drivers and most importantly fare pricing that suits them with no risk of strikes.

CMC have sold over 400 Suzuki Alto. Some as I write are fully paid. Unless u are saying taxi business is quail business you are wrong on Uber Chap Chap. Business is about management not luck.

Uber Chap Chap(Suzuki Alto) seems like this was another pyramid scheme like quail business. Someone at CMC Motors cut a deal with Uber, duped naive drivers to take the car on loan.  Forty Thousand shillings per month unsustainable now they’re getting auctioned. Man eat man society.

Uber Chap Chap, same script pay fifty thousand shillings loan processing fee, get a car, -Suzuki Alto that goes for 1.2million… eh!

KEBS ban on importation of second hand car parts grimly reminds me of CMC motor’s sell of Suzuki alto 800 for Uber chap chap at unreasonable cost of one  million! Like the slave we are, Kenyans opted for financing from local banks, foolishly not privy to the fact that CMC enjoyed complete monopoly over selling of the car’s spare parts, meanwhile entering an already crowded taxi hailing market! Show me an Uber Chap Chap  and I’ll show a crying owner!
