The Fake Gold Scam is taking different twist each and everyday. Politics has been placed at the center of the saga eliciting a mixture of reactions.
Former Gem Member of Parliament Jakoyo Midiwo who also adds up as Hon Raila Odinga’s cousin has betrayed the old adage that states ‘blood is thicker than water.’
Jakoyo Midiwo who flopped on ODM ticket has taken a stand not to defend Hon Raila Odinga who is implicated in the fake Gold Scam.
In a leaked audio which the person is identified as Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula, most top prominent politicians are named in the fake gold scam. Hon Raila Odinga, CS Fred Matiang’i are among the key politicians named in the fake gold scandal.

The deal which is worth 400 Million has evoked the anger of UAE Sheikh who is demanding either the gold or the key conspirators face dire consequences.
But according to Jakoyo Midiwo, everybody mentioned should face the law.
“The law must be blind on anybody who is found to be involved in the gold scam (whether it is Raila, Uhuru, Wetangula or Matiang’i) despite their position,”Midiwo has stated.

This is unexpected from Midiwo who was expected to stand by “Mtu Wetu syndrome.”
This has been the major trend of most politicians defending their tribe mens.
