10-Man KCB Breaks Nzoia’s Resilience With an Early Lone Goal

Nzoia United have lost a good chance of jumping to the 10th position past AFC Leopards and Kakamega Homeboyz after being humiliated by KCB at their home ground.

KCB scored an early lone goal in the 7th minute, a goal that they got through penalty after aggressively raiding Nzoia United’s goal.

Unfortunately, KCB were reduced to ten men in the 26th minute after their player Brian Ochieng was sent out with a red card.

In the second half, Nzoia tried to regain their resilience though doing it late as the Bankers were keen on protecting their lone goal throughout the second half.

The Bankers’ knew that the three points would help them reduce the gap between them and Tusker who were nine points clear ahead of them before meeting Nzoia.

The host failed to use their numbers to convert the Bankers’ lone goal and ended up succumbing to a defeat at this critical moment of the Kenya Premier League.

Nzoia Sugar will still remain in the 12th position with 37 points while KCB will still be in the 8th position but with an increase of three points.
