Uhuru warns students against adolescent sexual relations

President Uhuru Kenyatta for the first time has waved into the debate of adolescent Sexual relations.

The Relationship among adolescents and teenagers has been blamed among the leading cause of teen pregnancies.

Last year National Examinations recorded the highest number of students who dropped off from their Exams to go and deliver.

The newly appointed CS George Magoha blamed pornographic sites for the escalating number of teen pregnancies.

President Kenyatta challenged students across the country to work hard in their studies and cautioned them against detractors such as adolescent sexual relations. He asked students to instead aim for good results in their school work.

President Uhuru Kenyatta warned the students while handing over a 52-seater bus to Kamacharia Girls Secondary School from Murang’a County. The President also donated indigenous seedlings to the school and challenged the girls to always be mindful and sensitive to their physical environment.

Moreover,President Kenyatta reminded students that school equipment & other supporting infrastructure provided by the government are meant to ensure they are not unnecessarily distracted from their key goal of excelling in their studies. He advised them to stay focused on their academics.
