Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette was also left out of the squad.

Martial had an inconsistent 2018/19 season and there have been reports Solskjaer is willing to get rid of the Frenchman.

The 23-year-old was left out of the France squad for the last FIFA World up in Russia, with rumours about a possible exit from United following the exclusion last year.

He remained at United but failed to make an impact under Jose Mourinho before the Portuguese was dismissed in December.
