Wonders will never cease in Kenya. Just before the dust can settle on the multi-billion shillings’ dams’ scandal that risks taxpayers money, yet is another scandal that has tightly hooked government officials.

The DCI is yet to make arrests on suspects implicated on the scandal despite numerous threats and alleged investigations. CMC di Ravenna is alleged to have paid a bribe of an unknown amount from a Sh4.9 billion down payment it received last year for the design of Arror multi-purpose dam in Elgeyo Marakwet County.Image result for Arror multi-purpose dam in Elgeyo Marakwet

Efforts to get a comment from the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Mr George Kinoti on the status of the investigations have bore no fruits.

Then there goes another rotting scandal that’s about to threaten international relation relations between Kena nad Dubai with claims that some hotels have started sacking staff.

The gold scam now has taken the political twist just like the Kimwarer dam scandal did

“The Opposition accused Jubilee of stealing the Eurobond, which was false. They said we’ve sold Mombasa Port, which was false. Now they are selling fake gold. Kenyans now know who the con men are” Said DP RutoImage result for DP Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto has claimed that Opposition political brokers are behind the recent fake gold scam.

Dr Ruto said those behind the scam were well-known people that had been in politics.

“These people are well-known and have evolved. They are now conning business people in the name of selling gold, which has turned out to be fake,” he said.

Kenyans are however worried about the mythical DCI that continues to evolve with threats and taking no actions on economic suspects.
