Images of a sad state school in Alego emerge

Negative impact of graft on education continues to raise alarm over the depreciating learning conditions as a result of public funds embezzlement.

Under the hashtag Anti corruption fail Kenya, many citizens have expressed why graft continues to rule the nation with little hope that any of our leaders will save us from this harsh reality weakening our economy while over burdening the common mwananchi.

One has expressed that our judges and those arrested are friends who possibly wen’t to school together making convictions nothing but a dream.

Another has referred to our current state as state capture explaining that it s the reason why the war against corruption remains ineffective in Kenya.

“Anti-corruption agencies like the EACC, DPP, Judiciary & oversight agencies like Parliament and the executive have been undermined and personalized to sanitise corruption,”Annan Paul said.

He has also revealed a deplorable state of Gombe Komolo Primary school in Alego, Usengo constituency where the area MP is Atandi Sam.

Pictures of the school show an old building with some mud and iron sheet unfinished structures that could fall down under harsh weather conditions and limit privacy as well.

Just recently another constituency was on the spot after photos of students seated on stones in flooded class after rains went viral on social media with politicians in the region shifting blame.

Mangororo primary school in Ganze Kilifi county was revealed to be in a dire state on discovery that the children who are mostly barefoot or with sandles are forced to stand on stones during the rainy seasons as a result of flooded classrooms.
