Can Nzoia Sustain Resilience Against Flourishing KCB?

Nzoia Sugar will be looking forward to showing their resilience against KCB as they did recently against Gor Mahia and Sofapaka in their last two matches.

On Wednesday last week, Nzoia managed to silence K’Ogalo with a 1-0 stunner, which not only denied Gor 3 points but also delayed their chance to lift the trophy.

Sofapaka also fell victim of Nzoia after Godfrey Oduor’s boys denied Batoto ba Mungu 2 crucial points, which saw Bandari flying to the second position with a wide margin.

The aggressive Nzoia Sugar will be hoping to continue with the same trend on Wednesday when they will be meeting the Bankers.

However, Nzoia will miss two of their sensational players Vincent Ngesa and Brian Wepo who are down due to injury but Collins Wakhungu could feature, according to Nzoia head coach Godfrey Oduor.

KCB equally have a good form and will be approaching this match after successfully bagging all the 6 points last week from their last two matches; against AFC and Kariobangi Sharks on Wednesday and Saturday respectively.

Should Nzoia Sugar win this match, they will jump to the 10th position in the table standings, same points with 9th positioned Ulinzi Stars but with a short in goal difference. But if they score 5 goals and above, they will definitely surpass the Kenya Army.

KCB, on the other side, will remain in the 8th position should they win since the 7th positioned Tusker is 9 points clear of the Bankers.

Generally, we expect a tough match tomorrow at Sudi Stadium. We will keep you informed of all the proceedings and the final result of the match.
