Kenya’s leading music streaming platform Boomplay has promised to invest in 100 million Kenya shillings in the music industry.
Boomplay will spend the whooping amount on the Kenyan music industry to promote content and make it easier for artists to make it in the market.
Boomplay Music is a media streaming and downloading service where millions of songs are found. It primarily focuses on African local and urban music content.
It was first launched in Nigeria in the year 2015 by Tecno and has so far been incorporated to more than ten African countries.
Boomplay music has collaborated with many music companies in trying to bring fans with millions of songs from local, urban, and even international.
During the Boomplay meeting at the Villa Rosa Kempinski with legendary artists in the music industry, the company promised to invest a hundred million in the Kenyan music.
This will increase its service provision and the type of songs in their app.
