After Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko got in power, he issued a sterning warning to  land cartels in Nairobi and it’s environs.

Sonko has know  vow to reclaim the Dandora Market which was grabbed by a private developer.

The Dandora market was grabbed alongside a piece of land in which public toilets were constructed by a developer only known as Kinuthia.

Sonko claims that Kinuthia was aided by some county officials who will face action immediately investigations are completed.

“The same way he grabbed the market, is the same way Kinuthia will return it,” he stated.

Sonko further put on notice individuals who think they can get rich by selling or grabbing public land that their days are numbered.

“There are officers at City Hall, who are helping these land grabbers, i am only waiting for investigations to be completed and once they are done, i will take action against them,” he stated.
