Kenyan Artiste Mayonde has revealed how she once wished to get married to the late American star Michael Jackson.
Mayonde says this was one of her wild dreams when she was younger and her very first dream was to be Janet Jackson’s dancer.
The ‘Isikuti love’ hitmaker says that her plan was to get married to Janet’s brother, Michael Jackson.
“When I was like 5, Michael Jackson was everything so I was like I will dance for Janet then Michael Jackson will see and marry me…” she said
Mayonde explains that this line of thought was her logic as a child and it was triggered by her passion for dancing.
She also added that what most fans do not know about her is that she loves to dance and it is something that she is looking forward to incorporating in hers shows.
Michael Jackson was undeniably one of the most admirable and influential musicians of all the time and Mayonde is definitely not the only one who had a childhood crush on him.
Apart from dreaming of being Michael’s wife, Mayonde also revealed the big dreams she has for her music career saying she wishes to have an EP or work on a project with Beyonce.
“I have such wild dreams, sometimes it even scares me. Making music around the world collaborating and having shows, I would love to have my own record label and mentor young artists, I would like to be a songwriter and write songs for Beyonce and Rihanna.
One of my wild dreams its to have an EP with Solange and Beyonce to work on a project with both of them, they have maybe collaborated in two songs together and I love them both and their musical styles that I resonate with.” she stated
Mayonde desires to make music with great musicians and she is also hoping to get more International shows so that she can tour the world.
