The controversial Miss curvy Uganda has hit headlines again after it was alleged that the car awarded to the winner was not paid for.
Uganda’s local dailies have reported that Miss Curvy Uganda 2019 will be forced to return the car if the payment is not made.
Miss Curvy Uganda made headlines in February after the minister of Tourism announced that curvy women would improve tourist attractions using their bodies.
After the court ordered for it to proceed, curvaceous women were happy to participate in the Miss Curvy women 2019.
The Tourism Minister said that the women will be situated in tourist attraction areas to show the world how they preserve their culture and the women are good.
After two months, the miss curvy was conducted and the winner, Nansansi, was awarded Jeep Cherokee.
According to Watchdog Uganda, car owner, Kamanzi, claims that Ann Mungooma, the organizer of Miss Curvy contest approached him in need of a car, but being that she didn’t have the money at the moment, they agreed that she will pay 16 million Ugandan shillings for the car in installments.
Kamanzi said that up to now, she has not been paid anything as agreed and she wants the car back.
