Pupils in all public schools in Embakasi East constituency will enjoy using modern toilet facilities courtesy of the area MP Hon Babu Owino.
The constituency initially had primary schools with dilapidated toilets making the lives of the young learners horrible and subjecting them to risks of contracting diseases.
MP Babu revealed his plan to build improved sanitation facilities to all schools in his constituency while unveiling newly built toilets at Edelvale Primary school on Monday.
“It’s my prayer that with these improved sanitation facilities, our pupils will be able to focus on learning during the academic year. We will continue to work on improving the learning environment in the entire constituency,” said Babu.

The launched 20 door facility is for both males and females pupils, persons with disability and the school’s staff.
A good learning environment with improved facilities will improve the pupils’ performance in Embakasi.
“It’s my prayer that with these improved sanitation facilities, our pupils will be able to focus on learning during the academic year,” stated Hon Babu.
Babu said that he will also highly invest in bursaries and learning materials to improve the academic performance of students in the constituency.
