Well, well, just when we thought we have had enough of the Fake Gold Syndicate, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino happened!
The Vocal MP has made sensational claims that DP William Ruto is also involved in the Fake Gold Scam.
Taking to his official twitter account, Babu said that he will soon give a dossier of Ruto’s involvement in Fake Gold business. He even claimed that he knows of one client that Ruto sold fake Gold to.
“I know of one client whom the Deputy President sold fake gold to.Dossier coming out soon.Hatupendi ujinga,” Said Babu.

Babu Owino’s claims come at a time when Ruto has openly castigated the Opposition over the Fake Gold Scandal.
The DP referred to members of the Opposition as Political conmen turned business conmen.
“These people who are political conmen turned business conmen should carry their cross alone” Said Ruto.
The DP at the same time asked members of the Opposition not to import their bad habits to the Jubilee Party.
“I tell our brothers in the Opposition not to import their bad habits to Jubilee; they should shun engaging in dirty deals, corruption and coning others,” he added.
The fake gold scam is the new front line in the political battle between deputy president William Ruto, his supporters and those of ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Ruto and his allies have hit out at Odinga, saying he had sullied the country’s name over his involvement in the gold scam.
