The DP’s statement came as the fake gold scam investigations are ongoing after the director of Criminal Investigations released an additional report which will now see six more people sermoned for questioning in the coming weeks

Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has been highly linked in the scam and is said to currently be in China where he is with a section of Senators for an official visit.

The DPP ordered for investigations after  an audio widely shared on social media, with a voice many believed is for Senator Moses Wetangula could be heard on in heated telephone conversation with a ‘client’ presumably from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), demanding to know the status of what is believed to be a gold deal.
