Homabay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga has spoken on the fake Gold scandal that has seen several government Leaders linked into the scam.
Her defence for ODM Leader Raila Odinga and Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’ i came after audio leaked online were a voice that sounded of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula and an Arab Man where they were heard mentioning Raila andMatiang’ i in their hit conversation.
While speaking to the media Ms Wanga insisted that the DPP and DCI be allowed time and space to do the investigations in the fake Gold Scam. She further added saying that the DPP and DCI must fight corruption until the end.
She further accused the tanga tanga team after they accused the former Prime Minister of being part of the scam following his social media pictures where he was seen with the culprit Zaheer Jhanda who has been taken in by the DCI for interrogation.
“This Political side shows by tanga tanga team should stop…It is the joke of the century for DP William Ruto to call Raila a conman,” Said Ms Wanga
She further noted that four political figures from Rift Valley MPs: Oscar Sudi, Nelson Koech, Caleb Kositany and Governor Stephen Sang were sent to Zaheer to make sure that the names of the president, CS Matiangi and Raila Odinga were invoked into the saga. however, Zaheer refused.
Her allegation was similar to that of Hon Junet Mohammed who also said that the four had plans to have the names of the President mentioned in the scam.

Ms, Wanga also urged politicians to focus on the development of the country and unite all Kenyans with mature politics and stop tarnishing the names of well-respected figures.
